Visotek, Inc. Receives Assistance Award from Michigan Business: Surviving to Thriving program (MB:S2T)

Funded by the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor, and Economic Growth (DELEG), the MB:S2T program at the University of Michigan is designed to assist Michigan businesses in becoming globally competitive in current economic conditions via diversification, technology, and overall improvement in the performance of a firm. MB:S2T Project Manager, Stephanie Little, is helping Visotek develop a realistic strategy and plan of action to assist Visotek with its diversification into the field of diode lasers for medical applications. The program provides support on a cost shared basis for the implementation of outside technical assistance on projects and services identified during the planning phase. Visotek is launching a new website and building a new business plan. The program is providing important assistance that will stabilize employment levels of Michigan businesses and foster growth.

About Visotek Inc:

Visotek Inc. develops and manufactures fiber coupled diode laser systems and peripheral components that simplify the use of lasers in any environment. Our lasers are used across the world in advanced manufacturing plants, military maintenance depots, surgical suites, and research labs. We offer our own line of diode lasers from tens of watts up to thousands of watts for direct use or coupled into fibers of varying sizes. Our custom peripheral optic components and laser processing heads transform laser energy from a variety of sources into tools for cladding, cleaning, welding, ablation, and soldering, to name a few. We also use lasers in our own job shop for high volume production and special boutique runs.
