Description
Visotek Inc., a manufacturer of high power fiber coupled diode lasers and systems with up to 5 kW from a 1 mm fiber, announces its new ULTRA HIGH BRIGHTNESS SERIES of fiber coupled diode lasers. The new systems are offered with output powers from 25 W to 75 W from a 100 µm fiber, and 100 W to 350 W from a 200 µm fiber with an NA=0.2 at a single wavelength. The 2-dimensional hermetically sealed diode array (Fraunhofer USA Patent Pending) incorporates backside cooling and single-chip technology resulting in superior reliability. 75% coupling efficiencies can be achieved, leading to the best-in-class wall plug efficiency.

The unique brightness of these lasers enables a wide variety of industrial processing applications currently being serviced by solid state lasers, and it is also an efficient pump source for fiber lasers and other solid state lasers.

The lasers can be configured as OEM units with fiber coupling or free space optics. Turnkey solutions are also available. Our new network compatible control allows simple configurations or remote control of one or multiple modules via Ethernet.
