High Power Single Fiber Output Direct Diode System

Description

The Visotek SFO (Single Fiber Output) direct diode laser system combines the output of several high power lasers and efficiently couples the resulting power into a single delivery fiber. Output fiber diameters range from 600 microns to 1,500 microns with output powers as high as 5 kWatts. Fiber lengths up to 50 meters are available for remote and flexible laser power delivery. The high power single fiber output can be switched for multiple station operation (time shared) or split for multiple lower power applications (power shared). Optional working optics are available to optimize the output beam shape (flat top, square, circular, slit, etc.). Additionally, a number processing heads for welding, cutting and cladding applications are offered along with monitoring sensors (e.g., cameras, pyrometers).

Flexible Architecture

Visotek’s integrated system combines multiple high power, field replaceable, modules into a single fiber, offering flexibility in design, upgradability and the highest reliability.

Wavelength Multiplexing

The output powers of several “building blocks” at different wavelengths are efficiently combined via wavelength multiplexing. The output of each contributing module can be independently controlled.

Description

The Visotek IS (Integrated System) direct diode laser system is a complete turn-key system integrating up to four high power fiber coupled diode lasers into a single system with up to four independent fiber outputs. This cost effective design shares power supplies, controls and cooling systems. The flexible architecture allows for upgrades and customization. Individual output fiber diameters range from 600 microns to 1,500 microns with individual output powers as high as 2 kW. Fiber lengths up to 50 meters are available for remote and flexible laser power delivery. Optional working optics are available to optimize the output beam shape (flat top, square, circular, slit, etc.).
